B & B Moving & Storage heads back to Bekins

SALT LAKE CITY, UT |

With almost twenty years experience in the moving industry, B & B Moving & Storage rejoins Bekins Van Lines as a prime interstate moving agent.  B & B was a former Bekins agent ten years earlier but became a Wheaton World Wide Moving agent in 2010.  Since Wheaton’s acquisition of Bekins Van Lines in 2012, B & B was able to transition back to Bekins earlier this year.

“The Bekins name is strong in the west,” said Doug Bagley, owner of B & B Moving & Storage.  “Once Wheaton acquired Bekins, it just made sense.   It was an easy transition and I’m happy to carry the Bekins Van Lines name once again.”

Doug Bagley is the owner of two other moving companies also based in Salt Lake City: A-1 Pioneer Van Lines, Inc. and Bill’s Moving, Inc.  Both of these van lines are also a part of the Wheaton | Bekins network of agents.

“We’re happy to have a continued relationship with both Doug and his three van lines in Utah,” said Mark Kirschner, CEO of Wheaton World Wide Moving | Bekins Van Lines.  “Because of the acquisition, it was a smooth transition for B & B to move back under the Bekins umbrella of agents.”

Bagley has been in the moving industry for forty-six years and prides himself and his businesses on having the lowest claims for both personal injury and furniture damage.  Treating the customer with respect and generously sharing company assets to others has been a long-time philosophy of both Bagley, B & B and his van lines as a whole.
