Wanless-Brothers bounces back to Bekins

Loves Park, Ill. |

With more than 40 years of experience in the moving industry, Wanless-Brothers Moving and Storage Company owner Bobby Wanless is setting out on his own to operate his moving company under the Bekins umbrella of interstate agents.

Wanless started out in the sixth grade, assisting his father in the family moving business, Springfield Van & Storage, with tasks, such as cleaning on the weekends. He later moved up the ranks and served as the Operations Manager from 1972 to the mid-2000s. Springfield Van & Storage has been in Wanless’ family for years and has been a an interstate agent for Bekins Van Lines since 1992.

The moving industry might be a challenging job, but it’s one that Wanless has excelled at. As a self-promoted people person, Wanless loves the fact that every day is different and that every day involves interacting with customers.

“I’ve worked for a Bekins agency since 1992 -- it's a quality company and a brand people trust,” said Wanless. “I'm thrilled to be back in the Bekins network.”

Wanless-Brothers Moving and Storage Company is located in Loves Park, Ill. and serves the surrounding area of Rockford and Northern Illinois.
