When moving your family, you want interstate movers who know exactly what they’re doing. Movers who have the expertise and the track record to back up their promise of a hassle-free move. For that type of experience, Bekins is your team.
Bekins is one of the nation’s leading residential moving companies because we sweat the details so you don’t have to—which is why we’ve been around for 125 years. We’re interstate movers you can trust.
We can move just about anything—including fragile items, and large items like appliances. If you do decide to move appliances (washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, stoves, etc.), they should be properly disconnected before the mover’s arrival. An authorized service firm can disconnect and prepare each appliance for transport. All refrigerators and freezers should be defrosted, cleaned, and dried before the movers arrive.
Interstate Versus Local Moves
If you’re planning an interstate move, Bekins will connect you with one of our agents, and the whole process will be overseen by one of our move managers, who will be your single point of contact in case of any questions or concerns. Your interstate move is priced by the weight of your belongings, the distance they’ll travel, and the number of additional services—for example: packing—that you request.
If you’re moving in state, we’ll refer you to one of our expert local agents. But keep in mind that they will be a certified Bekins agent, and are held to the same high standards that we expect from anyone who works with us.
In either case, your first step is the same—contact your local agent to get started.
