Stephen F. Burns – Chairman of the Board
As Chairman of the Board at Bekins Van Lines, Stephen Burns brings more than 25 years of moving-industry experience to the table. In addition to being a moving expert, Stephen also graduated Cum Laude from the Indiana University School of Law.
Stephen became chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Bekins Van Lines in 1988. In addition, he also currently serves as chairman of the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA).
Mark Kirschner – Chief Executive Officer
Mark Kirschner serves Bekins as the Chief Executive Officer. An employee of Bekins Van Lines, he is proficient when it comes to the ins and outs of the moving industry, and has been with the company since 1982.
Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University.
A.J. Schneider – Executive Vice President
A.J. Schneider serves as the Bekins executive vice president. Beginning his career in 2007 with Bekins Van Lines, A.J. previously served the company as vice president of sales and marketing.
A.J. holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Indiana University.
Jerrod Carter – Chief Information Officer
Jerrod Carter has served as the Bekins Chief Information Officer since 2010, ensuring that all technology and IT services are up to par with moving industry expectations.
Jerrod holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Sharon Heneghan – Vice President of Finance
Sharon Heneghan serves as the vice president of finance at Bekins Van Lines. She has been with the company since 1984 and has 29 years of moving industry experience.
Sharon holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lockyear College.
Ron Borkowski – Vice President of Operations
Ron Borkowski serves as vice president of operations at Bekins Van Lines. He has been with Bekins since 1994 and has 30 years of moving industry experience.
Ron holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State University.
John Weissert – Vice President of Revenue Accounting & Claims
John Weissert is the vice president of revenue accounting & claims at Bekins Van Lines. He joined the company in 1999 and has 36 years of moving industry experience. In addition to serving as vice president of revenue accounting & claims, he also serves as the president of Bekins’ wholly owned subsidiaries, Crown Moving & Storage, Inc., and La Habra Relocations, Inc.
John holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Fred McBroom – Vice President of Agency Development
Fred McBroom is the vice president of agency administration at Bekins Van Lines. He joined the company in 2000 and has 16 years of moving industry experience.
Fred holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing – Distribution Management from Indiana University.
Tim Wiley – Vice President of Military
Tim Wiley serves as Vice President of Military. Tim joined Wheaton in 1994 and has 36 years of moving industry experience. He previously served as General Manager/Vice President of Operations at Wheaton agent, Crown Moving & Storage.
Doug DeLor – Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Doug DeLor serves Bekins Van Lines as the vice president of sales & marketing. He joined Bekins in 2014 and has 24 years of sales and marketing experience.
Doug holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Indiana University.
