For example take myself, a young college grad, moving into an apartment for the first time. Naturally, I have fewer belongings and I’m somewhat less attached to several of them. This is very different from my 64 year old grandma who will be moving out of her house that she has lived in for over 30 years. The household goods that will be relocated from her house have years of memories and bits of my childhood attached. That is why Bekins, a proud partner of National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), will be attending the #NASMM2014! Great Ideas Conference held February 22-25th in sunny San Diego, Calif. Bekins is constantly looking for innovative learning opportunities gained from attending events such as this. While we may be able to catch some rays and flaunt a great tan back in our headquarters located in Indianapolis, Ind. – more importantly we recognize the value in applying tools learned at these conferences. Ultimately investing our time like this allows us to provide top-of-the-line service and seamless relocation for older adults.
