Nicole Muñoz promoted to Director, Marketing & Brand Development

INDIANAPOLIS – Bekins Van Lines recently promoted Nicole Muñoz to Director, Marketing & Brand Development. Muñoz will drive the strategy and implementation of the company’s marketing and branding efforts.

Muñoz has held various positions within the van line’s marketing department since 2006. She has led the concept, development and implementation of the company’s approach to branding, digital marketing, advertising, social media and collateral.

“It’s great to have someone within the company who is both knowledgeable about relocation and has the marketing and branding expertise to move us forward,” said A.J. Schneider, Executive Vice President of Bekins. “I’m thrilled that Nicole will be leading our marketing and brand development charge.”

Muñoz will oversee the marketing team as well as the van line’s multiple external partners responsible for the company’s websites, design and marketing strategy. In addition, Muñoz is responsible for organizing the Bekins Annual Partnership Conference and Regional Meetings.

Muñoz holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Butler University. Her background includes time spent in public and media relations capacities, the pharmaceutical industry and a stint in the Washington political arena working on Capitol Hill. In 2010, Muñoz was named Van Line Employee of the Year.
